There is an argument that working in a team is better than working alone. This essay discusses both the advantages and disadvantages of teamwork.
On the one hand, working in a team tends to be helpful for some people. Firstly, people are able to share their ideas and thoughts each other. When supportive, creative and productive people cooperate, they can solve issues together efficiently. For example, one individual can be good at organizing while another is good at communication, which can affect to their project to be more valuable. In addition, teamwork reduces work depression because responsibilities are dividend among members which can provide productivity.
On the other hand, working in a team also has its negative aspects. One major drawback is that possibility of conflict among the people who are working together. Different personalities or opinions can create struggling with making decisions and occasionally it may create tension. Another downside is unequal contribution, some members can rely on team leaders, as a result, they do less than others and this can make frustration in responsible members. Moreover, there is also time-consuming discussions which requires a lot of time for each member’s opinion to discuss and they may challenge with making an exact decision. In conclusion, although teamwork sometimes leads disagreements, imbalance and time-consuming process in effort, its advantages such as idea sharing and solving often make it a valuable way of working.
Overall, I believe that teamwork is considerably better than working alone because it helps people complete work faster and learn new skills by collaborative working. Zabarjad
