What Writify is

Writify provides AI-generated feedback and estimated band scores for IELTS Academic writing (Task 1 and Task 2). Scores and feedback are an aid for practice and self-study. They are estimates and may differ from the results of an official IELTS examination. Writify is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by the official IELTS partners.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Acceptable use

• Submit writing that is your own work.
• Do not submit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content, or content that contains others' personal data without their consent.
• Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the service, or to circumvent usage limits or access controls.

Your content

You keep ownership of the essays and writing you submit. You grant Writify the permission needed to process your content in order to provide the service — including sending it to our AI model provider to generate feedback (see the Privacy Policy).

Essays that achieve an overall band of 6.5 or higher may be published anonymously to our public Essay Library as learning examples. You can ask us to remove any such essay through the in-app feedback form.

Subscriptions and payments

Writify offers a free trial and paid plans with different monthly essay and feature limits. Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, Dodo Payments. Limits and pricing are shown in the app and may change. We do not guarantee any particular band-score improvement from using the service.

AI limitations

AI-generated feedback can contain mistakes or omissions and should be used as a study aid alongside your own judgment and, where possible, guidance from a qualified teacher. Do not rely on Writify as the sole basis for important decisions.

Termination

You may stop using Writify and delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.

Disclaimer and liability

Writify is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Writify is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
