In my opinion, ther are many positive aspects of public transportation for society. First of all, public transportation contributes to cost- effectiveness for people in urban areas. By this I mean, the individuals who aren't able to afford buying car, public transportation offers an alternative way for a trip. An example for this, people often use public transport as an alternative way, because transport charges are cheaper than private automobiles.
Another advantage of public transportation is that busses metros and etc, mitigate the level of traffic jam leading to stress among the society. By this I mean, If everybody buys private cars to themselves, traffic congestion will be inevitable. To ilustrate, the countries public transport highly used, there are not traffic jam.
In conclusion, I believe that, public transports are essentially helpful community for the reasons mentioned above.
