The line graph compares the proportions of women employees aged between 15 and 63 in five different countries--Iceland, Canada, Germany, Chile, and Turkey—between 2003 and 2009, measured in percentages. Overall, Iceland recorded the biggest portion of female employees in required age limit, while Turkey showed the opposite figure. Notably, there was no intersections between countries’ trends due to the almost unchangeable rates throughout.
Focusing on the lowest positions, Turkey and Chile began similar to each other-roughly 25 and 35 in their respective. Over the following two years, the former experienced moderate decline by 5, while the latter overwent the opposite trend.
The remaining period was identical for both countries, when their women’s percentages raised almost unnoticeably. Turning to the highest, the three remaining countries commenced at different levels in 2003, with approximately 60% of women in Germany, compared to around 70% for Canada and for 80% for Iceland. Over the whole period Canada showed the highest consistency, while its counterparts were becoming closer to him. By the end of the period, Germany merely increased by only 2%, whereas Iceland decreased by 4.
Regardless of it, their relative rankings remained unchanged.
