The two maps illustrate the transformation of Greenwich Park over a ten-year period from 2015 to 2025. In 2015, GreenwichPark was primarily a green space.
Firstly the Northern and western were densely forested, the forested areas were occupied nearly half of the western parkland. Meanwhile a small wooden shed stood in the north-east corner, isolated from other features. In the center of the park, a fountain was situated, which was connected to the main entrance in the south by a single, narrow dirt path. Notably, there were no other facilities or paved roads passing through the area at this stage. By 2025, the landscape had undergone significant changes.
Firstly, in the north-west side had a clear changes, the forest was cleared and subsequently replaced by a modern cafe. While the narrow dirt path leads to the heart of the park, the fountain was replaced with a rose garden, while the original dirt path was upgraded to a paved walkway. This path now surrounds the garden and links to the entrance in the edge of the park.
Furthermore striking changes with old wooden shed that located nearby the rose garden, it has demolished and the new modern library was built.
