It is becoming increasingly common for students to study overseas rather than studying in the country where they grown up. Although this studying has several possible drawbacks, I believe that its benefits outweigh the disadvantages because it provides some greater opportunities like broaden the mind and create self-independence.
Some people think that studying overseas can lead to serious psychological effects and some drawbacks. One major disadvantage is that students miss their relatives and family members. This can cause psychological effects, such as loneliness and stress, which may affect students’ education. In addition, some students may forget their own culture or change religion, which can result in a loss of their culture and feeling disconnected from their family and relatives. For example, some students forget their traditions or change religion, since they attempt to make new friendships. As a result, they make new friends but they may lose their old friends.
Nevertheless, I believe that the benefits of studying abroad are more significant. One primary advantage learning overseas is that it gives some opportunities to access in many fields. For instance, if students study the fields of programming, it provides them many opportunities to work in other categories of programming, such as Graphic design, copywriting and marketing. Moreover, learning different cultures often broaden the mind and allows individuals to make new friendships. For example, learning other cultures gives individuals more knowledge, which may help them become independence and more confident. As a consequence, it make them more confident and intelligent. In conclusion, despite studying overseas is stressful, I believe that learning overseas and different cultures make it more efficient.
