The diagrams illustrate how cement is made and its usage in concrete production. Overall, the process of making cement contains 5 separate stages, starting from crushing followed by mixing, rotating heat, grinding, and ending with packing.
The cement is used to produce concrete along with elements such as sand, water, and gravel. At the beginning, powder is taken from limestone and clay by crushing method.
Following this, powder undergoes the mixing step in a mixer. Once the powder is mixed, it goes through heater which is rotated during the process. Subsequently, the resulted element is ground to turn it into the cement. The cement is packed into bags for further usage. After the cement-making process, all four elements are combined at particular amount to produce concrete.
For instance, gravel constitutes half of the concrete while water contributes to production at only 10%. Taken together, cement (15%) and sand (25%) make up two-fifths of concrete. At the final stage, gathered elements are mixed in a concrete mixer which processes concrete.
